FUTO Post UTME Screening Form 2021/2022 is out, the institution decides to release their screening form date for candidates that took them as their choice of institution, This article will guide you through the entire steps.

Candidates who chose Federal University of Technology, Owerri as First Choice University in the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) are hereby invited for an aptitude test.

Note that this article is only meant for candidates that have chosen this institution as their first choice. Application commences on Thursday, September 23, 2021 and closes on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

FUTO Post UTME Screening Eligibility/Requirement

Before you apply for the screening exercise, you have to be qualified with the following requirement below.

  • Candidate that accept this institution as their first and even though you never choosed them as your choice of institution but you are planning on doing so, hurry up, as time waits for no body.
  • Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree and A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.
  • Candidate whose JAMB score is not less than 150 are qualified for the screening exercise.
  • Candiates whose WAEC result have atleast 5 credit in their core subjects including Mathematics and English language.
  • Those who did not choose FUTO as first choice University but scored a minimum of 150 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of Institution.

Method of Application

How to Apply for FUTO Post UTME Screening Form? well, the sweet thing about this is that you can do this yourself, all you have to do first is go to a cybercafe scan the required documentation listed below, and make sure you have an internet connection on your smartphone.

NOTE: if you are not really good at using the internet, kindly go to any cybercafe close by and get yourself applied for the screening.

  • Firstly, make sure you are making use of a compatible browser like chrome, it will make it really easy.
  • If you are using a mobile phone kindly switch to a desktop site by click on the three dot on the top-right side of your phone, view the image below.

To register, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Visit the university portal or website @ www.futo.edu.ng.ng
  2. Click on “Prospective student
  3. Click on the link; “2021/2022 POST-UTME/Directly Entry Application
  4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita  Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
  5. Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
  6. Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
  7. Proceed with the completion of the form.
  8. Correctly enter your O’Level results.
  9. Confirm your entries.
  10. Submit your application.
  11. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
  12. Await further communication from the University

Eligible candidates would be required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00)

Note this to avoid mistakes

Many candidates end up not being admitted, even though they did well in their screening test, the reason this happens is that they never adhere to the most important advice given by the school.

Make sure you adhere to these few steps as they are important for you to have chances to gain admission.

1.   You must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further communications.

2.   You must upload your O’Level results on JAMB PORTAL which would be used for the 2021/2022 Admissions Exercise.

3.   Those who fail to choose FUTO as their first choice University WILL NOT be qualified for the Aptitude Test.

4.   Any candidate who fails to successfully submit his/her application online would automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: In addition to 1 – 4 above;

5.   Kindly ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri on/before Friday, October 29, 2021.

6.   Any candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript would not be considered for Admission.
